The Flagstaff Hill Football Club (FHFC) “The Falcons” were established in 1963 as the Brighton Methodist Football Club. 1985 brought about change as the Club switched associations to the Southern Football League and changed our colours to red and blue. This resulted in immediate success when we achieved the memorable double of Premierships in the A and B Grades with both teams enjoying undefeated seasons in 1985. The club in 2016 won premierships in A Grade, C grade, U14 Saturday & U14 Sunday in the SFL.
Since 2000, we have grown from 2 senior & 2 junior sides to 4 senior sides (including an Open Women’s team), 4 junior sides and 8 sub junior teams. In that time as we continued to grow and improve our Club, we have won 21 premierships across every single grade and have had at least one team, in a Grand Final every year culminating in 7 teams in grand finals in 2017 out of a possible 8, winning 4 premierships including the A Grade men’s (back to back) and Open Women’s.
In 2011 and again in 2016 and 2017 we were officially recognised as the Southern Football League’s Champion Club of the Year
We currently have a network of around 650 families involved with our strong community focused club.
