Our team took on the fledgling of the competition, Noarlunga at Noarlunga, in a
progressive fixture move , playing alongside the Saturday mens comp before the B
grade game.  It has been a tough induction for Noarlunga  as a new addition to the
competition, but their girls played the game in great spirit and embraced the
challenge.

For Flaggy, it was an opportunity to secure a much-needed win as we attempted to
get our premiership defence back on track and the ladies didn’t disappoint – doing it
in style. It was a case of, ‘catch me if you can’ as Amber Cloughessy and Emily
Brockhurst went on a goal spree, kicking eight and seven respectively to provide
clear avenues to goal. Others to shine in the comprehensive win were Elizabeth
Johnson (one of our U17 wonder kids) who brought her own footy and Chloe Meyers
our captain who surprised by not only going into ruck but beat her much taller
opponent in the second half.
